The bugs were all alive and did well throughout thier stay with us. I do not like what they are packed in, it is very messy and hard to see them, it did contain the odor though.

We pack them in wheat bran for combined food and odor control . Use a screen strainer to separate them form the feed when feeding out. Also if you don't like touching feeders we sell a cool plastic tong to pick them up no touch.
